I'll probably never see those people again (some of whom I've come to love) and the thought has brought much loneliness back into my mind. I don't have any friends here. And I'm tired of it.
Yeah I know, it's a crappy new year's post, but date changes have rarely meant much to me. Second verse, same as the first. You know.

[Link] | I was baptized today by a Pentecostal man. It was the most powerful experience I've ever participated in.
When he pulled me back up, my legs turned to rubber and my entire body began to vibrate. The vibrations started in my hands and spread to the rest of me. This lasted at least 5 minutes, and then it slowly left the same way it came.
You know, they say suggestion is a powerful thing. But, no one ever told me that would happen. There was no suggestion.
There was only me, the man, 4 witnesses, and God.

[Link] | Lately I've been having entirely too much free time at work. I'm... getting paid to be bored, I guess. But it sucks. Anyway, I used some of my free time today to write this.

My new DDR pad is acting up. Giving random misses. I'm getting it replaced, I guess. I just hope the new one doesn't have the same problem...
And I can't play PIU anymore. My PS2 will not function with the PIU pad connected. Strange.
I refuse to play DDR on a softpad. Can't do it. So I'll need to find some other form of physical activity in the meantime.

[Link] | My nexen pad came today! It's beautiful. I love it. It's like playing on the ITG2 machine in the mall (except I don't have to deal with the machine breaking every 10 minutes). And there's no bar, but that's fine... If I decide I need one, I'll find a chair I can use. Or something.

I meet a girl/woman/female/whatever. We become best friends. We spend as much time together as is practical.
At the end of the dream, we are somehow separated. I can never find/catch up to her.
The dream is always different. Never the same female. But the theme remains.
Last night, she had long blond hair. We were traveling cross-country. Perhaps even hitchhiking.
She was kidnapped by serial rapists.
It's terrifying to think what this may mean for my reality.

I like the guy who did get it. I think he can do it well. So that's okay, too.
What's not okay is how I found out.
Today (Monday) was his first day as supervisor. I did not even know they had picked one yet until I heard my coworkers talking about it at the time clock.
